It’s been long since, I came up with anything on my blog. However, yesterday I pledged to write something today. And here I am.
These days so many TV channels in India have come up with so called phone-in programs after midnight that one would be unable to find a decent channel showcasing any good program.
But, these channels have run out of content ideas. They are too similar to each other. Some channel would be selling some kind of repackaged/inferior products. And others would be running puzzles where one needs to call the channel to win some cash.
Sounds pretty easy right, but no. First you need to register your user name with that website, which is not cheap. These calls are charged at Rs. 6-15 per minute. I feel these channels along with the telecom providers have created a nexus of legal frauds.
I feel that these are a stream of fraudsters looting the public of the hard earned cash.
It’s time the government do something about it. Where is government’s moral policing department? May be Rahul Mahajan’s so called Swayamvar was better than this midnight public robbery.
Welcome back to writing on your blog–it is not easy to think of new topics.
